Prof. Susan Kurrle, eminent geriatrician will discuss successful ageing and what options are available when we are unable to remain at home.

Professor Susan Kurrle, eminent geriatrician and recipient of 2022 Sidney Sax medal for outstanding contributions to the development and improvement of Australia’s healthcare system.

Professor Kurrle is a practicing geriatrician for the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), specialising in the areas of dementia, frailty, elder abuse, successful ageing, and intergenerational care. In addition to her work at NSLHD, Professor Kurrle is the expert geriatrician leading the work on the internationally award-winning ABC TV documentary series ‘Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds’.

She will discuss successful ageing and what options are available when we are unable to remain at home.

Zoom link reminders

A Zoom link reminder will be sent to participants ' registered email 2 days prior to the event. Please ensure "Eventbrite " is added to your safe sender email list.

A final reminder email will be sent 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

How do I interact in an online event?

When registering, you can submit questions - these will be forwarded to Prof. Kurrle.

Once you have joined the event, you can type additional questions into the Chat box. Our Chat moderators will forward relevant questions to Prof. Kurrle.

You will be able to hear the presenter and view their shared screen however your microphone and camera will not be activated.
