BPAY biller codes

Please note that the BPAY biller code 18424 for rate payments is no longer active. Please update your BPAY biller code to 457986 for rate payments.

For other non-rates payments (debtor account), please update the biller code from 12435 to 457960.

BPAY payments made by the retired biller codes will result in a rejected payment.

Choose one of the online payment methods available below:

Step 1.Council's online services

You can make a payment either as a guest or register and create a MyWilloughby account.

Please note that as part Willoughby City Council’s transition to the new MyWilloughy online platform, your payment reference numbers have been updated. The payment reference number is used to search for your account.

Your payment reference number can be found on the top right corner of your rates notice:

Note: Visa and Mastercard (0.75% service fee applies).

Step 2.BPAY

Use Council's BPAY biller code 457986 and your reference number, log in to your online or mobile banking, select BPAY, your preferred account, enter the BPAY details, amount and payment date.

Step 3.Australia Post Billpay

Use Council's billpay code, 3637 and your reference number and pay with your credit card, debit card or PayPal.

In person

You can visit Council's Customer Service Centre or any Post Office or Commonwealth Bank branch and pay your rates.
