Request a flood model

Online

When would you need this?

Flood models are generally requested by professional engineers seeking information to calibrate smaller flood models undertaken for a development, to match the information from Council’s larger models.

What you need to know:

  • Flood study and floodplain risk management study and plan documentation should be reviewed prior to requesting a flood model.
  • If your property is within the Scotts Creek flood catchment we are currently unable to provide you with a flood model.
  • Whilst all care is taken in providing accurate data, unintentional errors may occur and Council accepts no liability for the accuracy of this data.
  • A user agreement form will be required to be signed by the applicant prior to release of the flood model.
