When would you need this?

One-off application to undertake construction and demolition work outside of hours permitted by a development consent condition.

What you need to know:

  • The 48 hours urgency period applies to permits lodged between 48 to 72 hours (2 to 3 business days) before the start time.
  • You should not lodge a permit less than 48 hours (2 business days) before the start time as it will be refused.
  • This is a one-off application to undertake construction and/or demolition work outside of hours permitted by a development consent condition.
  • Your permit cannot cover more than a 24 hour period - One (1) permit is required for each variation to the approved working hours within any 24 hour period.

  • Applicant and contractor details.
  • Neighbour notification letter (mandatory).
  • Road occupancy licence (if required).
  • Traffic management plan required if your work impacts roads and footpaths. 
  • Any other attachments to support your application

Step 4.What happens next

You will receive an application reference number which you can use to track your application. 

Council will assess your application. If any documents or information is missing or needs amending, Council may request further details or reject the application if it’s deemed incomplete.

You will be notified and will receive your permit if it is approved. If your application is refused you will receive notification informing you of this decision.

Please note: the application fee will not be refunded regardless of the outcome.
