Castle Cove Village Centre pedestrian safety project

Council has been given $874,420 in funding through the NSW Safe
Speeds in High Pedestrian Activity and Local Areas for the 2024/25 to create a safer, pedestrian friendly environment around Castle Cove Village Centre.
The project will focus on improving pedestrian safety and lowering traffic speeds through new road infrastructure.

Smith Street

Smith Street scope is being delivered in two stages. The scope includes design and install shared user path between Eastern Valley Way and High Street, install a pedestrian refuge pedestrian refuge with kerb blisters, install a raised threshold and pedestrian crossing (wombat crossing).
