QuackStar & Postcards

An exhibition of ceramics and paintings by Venessa Crane.

Artist Venessa Crane presents a selection of artworks from both the QuackStar and the Postcards series.

QuackStar is a series of paper pulp and ceramic works, based on the character developed by Crane, “QuackStar”. Crane has re-imagined this duck with beautiful, fluorescent, rainbow wings in various forms and incarnations.

Postcards is a series of landscape paintings by Crane. Each of the landscapes has a deep significance to the artist. This series of paintings are inspired by the scenery from a road trip she took with her friend.

Venessa Crane was the First Prize Winner of the Willoughby Art Award in 2019.
