Song Tree Project

Michelle-Belgiorno_Song-Tree-Project_Call-Out

Artist, Michelle Belgiorno, invites participants to add your stitches and culture to the leaves of an Australian Song Tree.

The Song Tree Project brings together Australian women from diverse ethnic backgrounds to share children’s songs and culture through communal stitching and conversation.

In June 2021, Michelle will exhibit a conceptual tree at the Incinerator Art Space, comprising the embroidered leaves and songs of all participants.
