Exhibition Dates: 12 - 23 July 2017

An exhibition celebrating the 50 year art practice of Korean born artist Youngbai Kim.

Humans are only one part of nature, one of God's creatures that fade away for a limited time.

All the things that will disappear one day will be so sad and paradoxical and truly more beautiful. Listening to the names of wild flowers and trees, the butterflies that struggle in the wind, and the various birds singing in the wind, I see my life in my fleeting life look so much alike.

The sound of wind that disappears and the sounds of nature that can be heard in my ears and I feel like I can see all kinds of things that exist around me. I draw pictures based on emotions that look at the outward appearance of the scenery.

The painting is a challenge of the creative world freely by the viewpoint of oneself in one category, whether it is a concept or a non-planet on the space (canvas) due to the transcendence of the free and unlimited time, and my paintings express my natural expressions and emotions in my own It is my own image that I expressed. I am always thankful for the fact that there are objects and spaces that can be expressed in my life and work that have been solidified in my memory.
