Never too old to start something new

At an age when most people are winding down, at 91, in February this year David Cutlan started with a paintbrush in hand. With the inspiration and support of his carer, Megan, so began his adventure into a new way to spend my leisure hours. He took to it “like a duck to water” and a newfound passion lighting up his days.

Soon, David was enthused to try his hand at landscapes and really enjoyed the process. David has never looked back.

This has been David's journey into art. Should you be similarly inspired, put your fears aside and try your hand at painting - just have a go. Have fun. Have no expectations. Simply learn a few techniques … and good luck on your own journey. You never know where it might take you.

Location

Our centre is located within a 5-minute walk from the Chatswood Interchange via Chatswood Mall turning right into Victor Street.

As there is limited and restricted parking available in the Council open-air car park next-door, visitors may choose to use the Westfield car park across the road.
