National Tree Day
National Tree Day provides an opportunity for you to connect with nature. Join this family friendly activity, meet your local community and participate in a revegetation activity that benefits your local environment.
Activities include:
- Planting Activity 10am-12pm
- Plant Giveaway 10am-2pm
- Mulch Giveaway 10am-2pm
- Guided Bushwalk 11am-12pm*
*Bookings are required for the Guided Bushwalk - BOOKED OUT
We recommend you bring drinking water and wear a hat, covered shoes, long sleeved shirt, long pants and your own gloves. Tools and watering cans will be provided.
Celebrate Plastic Free July 2022 by bringing along your unwanted plastic plant pots for re-use or recycling. We are accepting PP5 (number 5 in the chasing arrow symbol) black or coloured plastic plant pots, punnets, carry trays and plant labels, all of which must be clean (remove soil and substrate).
COVID-19 safety guidelines: all participants are asked to review and apply NSW Health recommendations. Persons that are unwell (even if symptoms are mild) are asked not to attend (Note: Please also follow NSW Health guidance to seek a test for possible COVID-19 infection). Please follow physical distancing rules of 1.5 metres and continue to practice safe hygiene and sanitise hands before and after using tools, watering cans or buckets.
