Future Makers Playshop - Green Streets theme

An interactive eco playshop for 5-10 year olds about the magic of bringing more nature into our communities.

This eco play experience, facilitated by Be The Future and supported by Willoughby City Council, includes:

  • Interactive floor projector play: Use motion (hands, feet, props) to explore nature-based solutions and play nature games.
  • Lego play: Create a 'green' street using piles of preloved Lego.

We'll also have our giant floor tree made from preloved fabrics that children can 'grow' by throwing our giant dice and attaching handmade leaves and animals.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Booking essential! Limited spaces available. Please book for each child attending.

Cost: Complimentary, however please only book if you can make it. And if life happens and you can't make it anymore - please cancel your ticket(s). We usually have waitlists eager to snap up last minute spots.

Accessibility: All physical abilities are welcome as the site is fully accessible. Please contact us for any special requirements, requests or questions.

What to bring: Socks, reusable water bottle, and plastic-free snacks for after the playshop. Children will be asked to take their shoes off for the playshop (and leave their socks on).

Photo permissions: Please let us know at the start of the workshop if you would prefer your child(ren) not be included in photos taken on the day (photos to be used for promotional purposes only, we will make efforts to not show faces wherever possible).

Please see our other Be The Future events for more playshops supported by Mosman Council and Willoughby Council, and The Coal Loader events for playshops supported by The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability.
