An exhibition of paintings by Denise Park.
Daily Impressions explores the work of local artist Denise Park. This exhibition focusses on scenes of daily life in the local Willoughby area, from cosy domestic settings to the hustle and bustle of the local bus stop, markets, and cafés. Park’s keen observation of daily social interactions is reflected in her work, ranging from playful children and family picnics to bored husbands, waiting for their wives to complete their shopping. She studied at the National Art School and has illustrated botanical and children’s books. She has also taught art at the Neighbourhood Council of NSW and St. Lucy’s School for the Blind in Wahroonga.
