Dougherty Community Centre Knitting Group - Open day

Please join the DCC Knitting Group where knitters come to meet, share and make friends on a weekly basis, all whilst knitting for those in need. 

All items are donated to the less fortunate in our local community through The Salvation Army, local Nursing Homes, Stewart House, Street Works, Wayside Chapel and many others. 

At our Seniors Festival Open Day, we will be showcasing our efforts and providing an opportunity to share ideas, learn new skills and make friends.

Needles and yarn provided along with plenty of hands-on expertise and light refreshments.

We also welcome any donations of yarn, either new or surplus from your own collections.  Our Wool Donation Box is location in the Dougherty Centre Reception area.
