A mental health info talk offered by MOSAIC in partnership with Transcultural Mental Health Centre.


Join us for a free, short and practical mental health talk in partnership with the Transcultural Mental Health Centre.

Delivered in English with Japanese interpretation.

Key point of the session:

  • introduce community members to the practice of mindfulness.
  • practice of mindfulness in everyday life supports wellbeing and assists with managing the stress experienced at a personal and work level.
  • mindfulness supports focus and awareness, self-regulation and shifting attention when one is caught up in negative thinking and worrying.
  • simple tips to relax the body, eliminate stress, and calm the mind.

You’ll also be introduced to the Transcultural Mental Health Line (TMHL), a free service to connect CALD community members to an experienced mental health professional who understands their culture, supporting them to improve their wellbeing and mental health.
