Botanical Walk – Ferndale Park, Chatswood

Discover the diversity of plants and fungi in Ferndale Park.

Join a professional botanist on a guided walk to look at local diverse and unusual plants, from tall eucalypts to small mosses, as well as fauna and fungi to see what makes our bushland so unique.

Learn how to use apps and online resources to identify and record species to contribute to our knowledge of local biodiversity.

Participants should wear sturdy, enclosed shoes suitable for bush walking. Wear a hat or sun protection. Be aware and take precautions against ticks, leeches and stinging ants. Bring own drinking water and snacks as required.
