Air-dry clay art workshop - Poppies

MainImage.jpg
Conducted by Ali Djohan, cake decorator and clay artist.

Join us for an exclusive workshop led by a premier clay artist to make poppy flowers in remembrance of the fallen soldiers where you'll discover the secrets to crafting stunning carnation flowers from air-dry clay.

About the artist:

Ali specialises in botanical flowers and loves to make miniature floral displays. To overcome the humidity problems experienced in Indonesia (and around the world) he's developed his own range of products and travels the world teaching how to work with edible clay sugar paste.

Ali travels to ACADA's International Cake Show Australia whenever he can to compete. His sugar flowers won runner up show champion one year and he's won several other prizes over the years. This workshop is generously brought to you by Ali's voluntary service with MOSAIC.

What to bring:

Please bring two (2) face washers to wipe the clay and glue.
