About Professor Susan Kurrle AO

Professor Susan Kurrle AO was the eminent geriatrician recipient of the 2022 Sidney Sax Medal for leadership in health services policy and delivery. In January 2023 she was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to medicine as a geriatrician, and to research into dementia and cognitive function.

Professor Kurrle is a practicing geriatrician for the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD), specialising in the areas of dementia, frailty, elder abuse, successful ageing, and intergenerational care.

In addition to her work at NSLHDProfessor Kurrle and her work have become a household name through the ABC TV series ‘Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds’.

A final reminder email will be sent 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the event.

How do I interact in an online event?

When registering, you can submit questions - these will be forwarded to Prof. Kurrle.

Once you have joined the event, you can type additional questions into the chat box. Our chat moderators will forward relevant questions to Prof. Kurrle.

You will be able to hear the presenter and view their shared screen however your microphone and camera will not be activated.
