Walking

Willoughby City Council promotes sustainable transport and is working towards creating a liveable city where car dependency is reduced and the city is easy to get around by walking, cycling and public transport.

There are many bushwalks and guided walks available in the Willoughby area, including The Round Willoughby Walk. You will also find information about other scenic walks around Willoughby and Sydney Harbour at walkingcoastalsydney.com.au.

Shared paths are also provided throughout the Willoughby local government area for the use of both bicycle riders and pedestrians. Find out more about safe sharing of paths.

It’s easy to learn more about our local heritage with ‘Willoughby Walks’, a free, interactive self-guided walking tour app brought to you by Willoughby City Library. The app is available for download on Android and IOS.
