There are six new wombat crossings in the Willoughby City Council area, completed in early December.

Wombat Crossings are raised pedestrian crossings that provide greater visibility of pedestrians for approaching vehicles.
The works were completed by the contractor in 10 days to a very high quality standard and in rainy conditions with increased traffic. At Keary Street (pictured), near Willoughby Public School, both crossings were completed in one single day.
