Grants

There are numerous community groups and individuals who undertake invaluable projects to benefit and assist the people of Willoughby. These projects promote community involvement, enhance quality of life and strengthen our community networks.

Council offers grants to assist community based groups, not-for-profit organisations and individuals.

Small Grants Program

Willoughby Council’s 2013-2014 Community Small Grants Program will open on Monday 4 March 2013 and will close midnight Sunday 12 May 2013. The Small Grants Program is designed to assist local community based groups and individuals. Applications should be submitted using the online Smartygrants program below.

The three categories are as follows:       

• Apply Online Smartygrants - 1A Community Development (up to $4,000)
• Apply Online Smartygrants - 1B Individual/Sports Grants (up to $500)            
• Apply Online Smartygrants - Arts & Cultural (A total of $6,000 for distribution)

All applicants will be notified of Council’s response to community applications in August 2013.

Willoughby Area ClubGrants (previously CDSE)

• Apply Online Smartygrants

The 2013-2014 Willoughby Area ClubGRANTS program will open in early March and close at Midnight Sunday 12 May 2013.

There is no cap on grant amounts distributed through the Willoughby Area ClubGRANTS program. The Willoughby Area Committee is highly supportive of applications from locally based organisations that are proposing projects with a strong local focus.

Successful applicants will be notified by the Clubs in August 2013.
