Mattresses

Mattresses and ensemble bases can be recycled through Council's clean-up collection service.

Either use the booked service or put your mattress out at the next scheduled clean-up.  Acceptable items include:

  • mattresses in any size and condition
  • mattresses of any type such as foam, latex and futon
  • bed base ensembles (fabric-covered bed bases)
  • bed frames, slats and bed heads.

After booking, please print and place a label(PDF, 157KB) on your mattress when you put it out for collection so that our rangers know that a collection has been booked.

Mattresses are also accepted at the Artarmon Resource Recovery (Cleanaway) (fees apply).
