Step 1.Make sure you are eligible

If you become an eligible pensioner during the year, your rebate will commence from the next quarterly billing period. Or if you are no longer eligible, your rebate will stop at the end of the current quarterly billing period.

Step 2.Prepare for application

Make sure you: 

  • have your rates assessment number and pension concession card number and date of grant handy
  • know when you moved into your property 
  • know if you have claimed a pension discount on another property in the last year 
  • know what your share of the property you own is

Prepare the following documents (if applicable):

  • Evidence of joint ownership
  • Copy of your pension concession card front and back

Step 3.Download and fill in the form

Step 4.Email us

Email the completed form and attachments to email@willoughby.nsw.gov.au

Step 5.Wait for our confirmation

We’ll process your request. You will be contacted if we need any further information. We will contact you over the phone, email or mail to let you know the new payment amount.
