Celebrate the opening of the group exhibition Embers, Epicorm: Art of the Eurobodalla at Incinerator Art Space.

Take part in experiencing the art-making journeys of seven Eurobodalla artists as they share their personal creative responses to living through the devastating fire event and its aftermath.

Having strong connections with the Eurobodalla region, our Guest Speaker for the evening is Sallianne McClelland - NSW Local (Hornsby) Woman of the Year, Advocate for Women's Community Shelters (WCS), Hornsby Councillor, co-ordinator of Mobilising for Mogo and recently appointed member of the Boomerang Meeting Place in Mogo.

Join Sallianne, the artists and honourable guests as we appreciate the importance of remembering the event to help personal and community healing, especially through different forms of cultural expression.

Performing live at the Opening Event, visitors will be treated to a welcome and fire song, Ganbi, performed in language by five members of the Djinama Yilaga Choir, led by exhibiting artist Walbunja/Ngarigo Cheryl Overton-Davison.

Bring a friend and enjoy the beautiful artworks, whilst enjoying light refreshments and a bite to eat.

Please register your attendance for this free event for catering purposes.
