Bush poetry and music - The Old Gum Tree

Come together to revive our local history and hear the rollicking rhythms of Henry Lawson, Banjo Paterson and other famous bush poets.

Featuring Don Swonnell with music by Greg Dimmock and friends.

This particular event will shine a light on our local and national significant trees.

Bring a rug or cushion to sit on, a mug for a cuppa and any refreshments you prefer.

Calling all poet readers - if you wish to read a poem, tree themes welcomed. Please advise by emailing bushcare@willoughby.nsw.gov.au

In case of wet weather, a cancellation message will go out at 2pm on the day of the event.

Note: The Henry Lawson cave is located on the bike and walking track below the Willoughby Leisure Centre’s rear car park (off Small Street Willoughby). Follow the signs.
