Balance bike workshops for children

Join our fun and interactive balance bike workshops for children, designed to help children learn how to ride without training wheels.

Note: If the session you would like to attend is booked out, please register for our waitlist by emailing us at env.educators@Willoughby.nsw.gov.au as last minute spots often become available when people cancel their tickets. We will notify you if a spot becomes available closer to the date.

On balance bikes, children grasp the fundamentals of bike movement and the skill of balance, breaking down the skill into manageable parts for optimal learning.

These interactive classes are designed to involve parents in their children's learning. Perfect for children aged 3 to 8, the workshops provides a great opportunity for fun family time.

There are 2 sessions to choose from: 10 am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm. Book a spot in your chosen timeslot, stay as little or as long as you want, however, please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before the end of the session to allow enough time for your child to participate.

No need to worry about equipment – we've got it covered. Balance bikes and helmets are provided, or feel free to bring your child's if you prefer.
