Sustainable Business

The Better Business Partnership (BBP) is a free sustainable business program through which Willoughby, North Sydney and Ku-ring-gai Councils support businesses to implement sustainability initiatives that reduce energy, water and waste usage and costs. We also recognise and promote the efforts of businesses.

BBP works with businesses to:

  • Save money through reduced energy, water and waste bills
  • Improve their environmental performance
  • Provide promotion through Better Business Awards, social media and recognition of the business’s actions.

Businesses can also look at opportunities to support their local community and staff, switch to sustainable transport and purchasing options, reduce their use of single-use plastics and to improve overall business health.
