COVID-19 Update - 24 March

We are preparing for further restrictions on people’s movements, but aim to keep essential services running, within the guidelines set by the state and federal governments. We’ve got some new information about waste collection and our services, so please read on.
Clean-Up / kerbside collection
To ensure that we can focus on maintaining important waste collection services, we ask that you book only urgent household clean-up and mattress collections at this time. The Artarmon Community Recycling Centre remains open for you to drop off items and we will continue to monitor advice from the state and federal government about keeping this Centre open.
Bins collection – normal service
Your red lid general waste bins, yellow lid recycling bin and green lid bins will continue to be collected as normal.
Libraries
As all library branches are closed, all borrowed items have been extended to a due date of 30 April. You can still access our extensive online resources including audiobooks, e-books and movies. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions or for assistance accessing our online resources library@willoughby.nsw.gov.au
What’s continuing
Our essential services, including Meals on Wheels, At Home with Willoughby and children’s services (child care, vacation care) will continue, with additional hygiene and social distancing in place.
