14 - 18 November Willoughby City Library is hosting a range of free digital literacy programs this November as part of the Go Digi Pop-Up Festival, giving the community an opportunity to learn about everything from basic internet skills to video editing! An initiative of InfoExchange and Australia Post, Go Digi is a national digital literacy program advocating digital skills and online confidence. Go Digi on The Concourse11am – 3pm, Monday 14 November Learn how to use tablets at this fun workshop. Drop by and pick up a free Go Digi learning guide! Technology for Seniors 10am – 11.30am, Tuesday 15 November Discover mobile apps that will keep you in touch, stay healthy and have fun. Some tablets will be available for hands-on experience. Plan Your Trip Online3pm – 4.30pm, Tuesday 15 November Learn how to use online resources to plan your next travel adventure. Please bring along your smart device if you have one. Learn How to Input Chinese Scripts to Search the InternetWednesday 16 November• Cantonese: 9am -10am• Mandarin: 10:30am - 11:30am Video Editing Workshop1pm – 3pm, Thursday 17 NovemberLearn how to use video editing apps to improve your videos. Suitable for smartphone/tablet users. Introduction to Family History: Genealogy Online10am – 11.30am, Thursday 17 NovemberUncover your family history using Ancestry.com and other online genealogical resources.
