Wildlife Protection Areas

All domestic pets are restricted from entering wildlife protection areas. Residents must keep pets out of these areas entirely:

  • Blue Gum Reserve (west of Kooba Ave) Chatswood West
  • Castlecrag Northern Escarpment
  • HD Robb Reserve, Castle Cove
  • Willis Park, Middle Cove

Residents may walk their dogs on formal walking tracks only if animals are leashed:

  • Blue Gum Reserve (east of Kooba Ave) Chatswood West
  • Explosives Reserve, Castle Cove
  • Flat Rock Gully, Naremburn and Northbridge
  • Ferndale Park, West Chatswood
  • Harold Reid Reserve, Middle Cove
  • North Arm Reserve, Middle Cove
