Council staff, with the help of Bushcare volunteers and contractors, have been working hard to improve the local environment for many years.
Undertaking weed removal and bush regeneration along all Willoughby’s major creeks, rehabilitating stormwater outlets to combat soil erosion, replacing noxious weeds with natives and re-building seawalls along the harbour foreshore are just some of the amazing results achieved to date.
Improving walkways for residents has also been a priority for Council.
