Penny Holloway

Penny Holloway has held the role of Chief Executive Officer, Lord Howe Island Board, since December 2013. She will be leaving the position at the end of June 2018. Prior to this, Penny was the General Manager of North Sydney Council for twelve years. She has also held the positions of CEO of Latrobe City Council in regional Victoria and General Manager, City Services, for the City of Whitehorse in Melbourne.

Before local government, Penny worked for the Victorian State Government, in senior positions in planning, housing and community services. Penny is a past President of the Local Government Managers Australia, NSW Division and was a member of the NPWS City North Regional Advisory Committee for 6 years. She has held positions as Director on The Architects Registration Board, Local Government Procurement and Australian Centre for Excellence in Local Government

Penny's qualifications include a Masters of Urban Planning, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). She also holds a Diploma from the Institute of Company Directors.
