Exhibition Postponed. New Dates TBA

Due to current COVID-19 Public Health Orders, this exhibition has been postponed.

An exhibition of textiles presented by the Australian Textile Arts & Surface Design Association (ATASDA).

ATASDA artists explore the concept of ‘interlude’ using unconventional materials, coupled with traditional textile techniques, to take the visitor on a journey. This could be a journey where reverie is displayed as a ‘respite’ from day-to-day activities; ‘leaving something unfinished’ in order to attend to other matters; or a ‘pause’ for thought, for a time out. The ATASDA artists use techniques such as dyeing, felting, weaving, machine embroidery, surface embellishment, fibre manipulation, knitting, hand embroidery and printing in their creative processes.
