Time Will Tell

Exhibition Dates: 4 - 22 May 2022

An exhibition of ceramics, printmaking, painting, sculpture, poetry and interactive works presented by six artists.

Time Will Tell explores time as a multi-dimensional fabric, challenging the concept of a linear continuum.  The six artists work within a range of disciplines, including ceramics, printmaking, painting, sculpture, poetry, sound, kinetic and interactive works. Through their different mediums, these artists engage with definitions and expand perceptions through processes of layering, capturing, cycling, measuring, reversing, and conflating moments in various structural frameworks of perception, anchored by particular events, but waving in the breeze of time.

As Merleau-Ponty stated, 'If we succeed in understanding the subject, it will not be in its pure form, but by seeking it at the intersection of its dimensions.'

ARTISTS: Lynley George, Susan Grant, Anne Levitch, Prue Robson, Angela Shacklady and Mary Simmonds.
