Crime prevention for mature residents

Discover how to protect your home and stay safe in the street. Learn about identity theft and how to prevent yourself falling victim to it.

Have you heard of phishing? Find out more about this and other popular scams and rip offs, including penalty scams and scams targeting your computers and mobile devices. This presentation will arm you with the knowledge of how to spot a scam and what to do to protect yourself.

Child protection

The internet presents many benefits but can also pose danger to our children and young people, most of who spend many hours each week on social media. Find out how predators undertake online grooming and learn how to protect your children from unwanted contact. You will also receive advice on the laws and consequences surrounding personal image sharing by children on social media and on their devices.
