Spring Wild Pollinator Count

MainImage.jpg
Wild Pollinator Count is a national Citizen Science project which facilitates biannual surveys of our native pollinators.

For this year's spring Wild Pollinator Count, council is hosting a 'how to' workshop on identifying and surveying for native pollinators in community gardens and suburban backyards.

Dr Scott Wilson, a senior lecturer in environmental science at Macquarie University will talk about the Wild Pollinator Count and how to participate in this citizen science project.

If you have any images of bugs that are visiting flowers that you would like help identifying or would like to share with others, please send them to liz.powell@willoughby.nsw.gov.au any time until November 5. We will show and discuss them on the day.

Try to get as detailed and focused image of the subject as you can.

This will be an online event. Participants will be sent an email from the organiser Liz Powell with the Zoom link to the event. The link will be sent the day before the event.
