MainImage.jpg
Master the art of concrete poetry and learn how to arrange your poem into a shape that mimics its subject.

Join Matthew Hamra as he guides you through the steps of making your own concrete poem. Also known as ‘shape poetry’, concrete poetry blends literary and visual arts. You will learn how to form your words into shapes that illustrate the poem’s subject as a picture, as well as through their literal meaning.

Join this free drop-in workshop at any time between 11am and 3pm. All ages are welcome.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult and are not to be left unsupervised during the workshop.

This event is part of the Council curated exhibition, Smart Expressions 2023.
