MOSAIC bushwalk - Harold Reid Reserve

Join us for a guided walk in beautiful Harold Reid Reserve

The reserve is 42.7ha in size, making it Willoughby’s second largest bushland reserve which connects with the largest, North Arm Reserve, forming a continuous habitat link to the north and also to the south with the Castlecrag Northern Escarpment.

Bushwalk Details:

  • The bushwalk starts at 9:30am and end around 11:30am.
  • Limited bus pick-up is available at the public car park on 7 Victor Street, Chatswood, Dougherty Community Centre at 9:00am. Bookings are required. After the walk, you will be driven back to the same pick-up point.
  • For those who want to make their own way, please meet at 42 North Arm Road. Refer to map below.
  • Must be fit enough to walk for 2 hours with some rest during the walk as required.
  • There will be some steps and uneven surfaces. If you recently had surgery or have mobility issues, please consider whether this walk is suitable for you.
  • Please use the toilet before the walk. There is only one portaloo in the top carpark area of the reserve, past Rembrandt Drive. For people using the minibus service, there are toilet facilities at the MOSAIC Centre.
  • A light morning tea will provided after the walk around 11:30am (tea, coffee and biscuits), for around 30 min.
  • For those travelling by the minibus, we’ll aim to be back at the Dougherty Centre by 12:30pm.
  • These walks are very popular and have people on a waitlist. If you can no longer attend the walk, please cancel your ticket or email me so that others can attend .
  • Suitable for adults only. No children or pets allowed.
  • Comply with current COVID-19 restrictions.
