Dance to the Nines 2023 - Animal and jungle theme

An accessible evening for people 18 years old and over living with disability. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.

Dance to the Nines reverts to a live event with an earlier start and finish time: 5:30pm - 8:30pm at the Dougherty Centre, 7 Victor Street, Chatswood, for those 18 years old and over living with disability.

Theme: Animal and Jungle

Cost: $10 - pay at the door (carers are free as no individual support provided)

Light refreshments will be served on arrival in our Blend Cafe:

  • Dance to the sounds from Evergreen Music and our volunteer DJs
  • Two lucky door hamper prizes drawn at 7:25pm - you must be present to claim your lucky door hamper
  • Beverages - water, tea and coffee, orange juice will be available throughout the evening
  • Light refreshments include a sausage sizzle, fruit, cheese and biscuits.

Doors open promptly at 5:30pm, there is no early admittance.

  • 5:30pm-6:00pm DJ and Food served on arrival until 6:45pm
  • 6:00pm-7:00pm Live Band - Evergreen
  • 7:00pm-7:25pm DJ
  • 7:25pm-7:30pm Lucky Door Prize Draw
  • 7:30pm-8:30pm Live Band - Evergreen.

Beverages available throughout the evening.

Registration essential

Registration for attendees including carers is essential as numbers are limited.

When you register, tell us your favourite songs you'd like to hear - we'll pass it on to the band.

Conditions of Entry

The Dougherty Community Centre is a Covid-Safe place. All staff and attendees must be fully vaccinated and required to observe current NSW Public Health Orders and Willoughby City Council - Conditions of Entry.

If you are experiencing any Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms, please do not attend.

Public Transport and Parking

Our Centre is located within a 5-minute walk from the Chatswood Interchange via Chatswood Mall turning right into Victor Street.

As there is limited and restricted parking available in the council open air car park next door, visitors may choose to use the Westfield car park across the road (up to 4 hours free parking if using Westfield plus app for your vehicle).

Event photography

We will have volunteer photographers that may take photos at our events for event promotional purposes and occasionally place these photos on the website or other social media. Any photos taken are only used by Dance to the Nines to promote future events and will only be used for this purpose.

By obtaining tickets to this event, you are agreeing that any photographs taken at the event can be used by Dance to the Nines for event promotional purposes.
