Judy Christie, naturalist and birdlife representative will be taking us on a bird watching walk to learn about local birds, share tips on bird watching and conducting a bird survey of the area .
The walk will take us around the top of Flat Rock and also down into the gully to discover the different bird species and other wildlife utilizing this area. The tracks at the top are even and easy to traverse but the tracks down into the Gully can be uneven and have many steps so this part of the walk is medium grade.
Please wear suitable clothing for bushwalking including closed in shoes with good tread. Bring a hat , water, snacks and sunscreen.
Morning tea is supplied and we will enjoy this at the end of the walk when we can chat about what you saw , the habitat features of the area etc.
