Back by popular demand - Plastic-free living and beeswax-wrap making workshop

Plastics seem to have infiltrated every aspect of our lives from packaging to food storage to skincare and clothes. Using those items has negative consequences to our health, particularly if we use plastic to store and wrap food as many chemicals leach into it. Plastic is also one of the largest causes of pollution of our environment and our oceans.

This workshop looks at the ways to eliminate plastic from our lives by suggesting alternatives to common products and demonstrating how to make safe, beeswax-infused food wraps.

This workshop is ran by Margaret Mossakowska, owner of Moss House and experienced sustainability educator. Margaret will run a practical workshop where you will make your own beeswax wrap to take away with you.

Please noteWhile our activities are FREE to attend, they do cost money to run. If you have booked and can no longer come, please let us know as soon as you can. We often have a wait list for events and can fill your place with advanced notice. We try to run our program sustainably, keeping catering and materials wastage to a minimum. Thank you.
