Modify approved security fencing by extension along rooftop westwards from vehicle bright across Albert avenue to existing plant room and changes to security screens and replacement of existing carpark wayfinding structure at top of existing vehicle ramp over Anderson Avenue and associated works.

Potential conflict

  • The proposal (in part) relates to Willoughby City Council owned land.
  • Willoughby City Council is also responsible for assessment of the development application.
  • The cost of works for the project is $295,000.00

Management strategy

The council is managing potential conflicts of interest in this matter as follows:

1. The assessment of an application for council-related development:

  • An independent consultant that has not been involved in preparing or lodging the development application shall assess the application.

2. The determination of an application for council-related development:

  • The Development Application will be referred to the Willoughby Local Planning Panel for determination.

3. The regulation and enforcement of approved council-related development:

  • A private certifier will be engaged to undertake the certification of the development.
  • Publication of certificates issued under Part 6 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 on the NSW Planning Portal.
