Mother’s Day is fast approaching and the opportunity to hunt for a unique gift awaits at Willoughby City Council’s Fair Trade Market on Saturday 7 May from 10am to 4pm at Chatswood Mall.
The popular markets highlight a diverse range of ethically created products including fashion accessories, toys, homewares, beauty products, jewellery, cards and more.
Each gift purchased will deliver money directly back to the individual who crafted them with economic benefits flowing to artists, farmers and producers.
Hidden gems include hammocks and Panama Hats from the Toucan Shop, jewellery and incense from Sacred by Design, soaps and greeting cards from Palestine Fair Trade and more.
This market is part of Council’s Live Well in Willoughby series of events, talks and workshops providing exciting ways to rethink your lifestyle and support a more sustainable future. Find out more at willoughby.nsw.gov.au/Environment/Events
