Voices and symphonic instruments combine in a triumphant celebration for Willoughby Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming concert: Last Night of the Proms.

Experience an unforgettable performance when guest Conductor Louis Sharpe leads the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, with Willoughby Choir and soloists from Pacific Opera bringing operatic talent to much-loved classics from the silver screen and Prom favourites.

Soloists from the Pacific Opera Young Artist Program will bring dazzling performances to some of the most-loved musical works. Rebecca O'Hanlon (Mezzo) will perform Sea Slumber Song’ from Sea Pictures followed by Ellen McNeil (soprano) singing I Could Have Danced All Night’, and Oscar Balle-Bowness (Tenor) ‘On the street where you live’, both from My Fair lady.

Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Choir will combine with unbridled enthusiasm for their performance of Handel’s Messiah Hallelujah Chorus. Last Night of the Proms would not be complete without a rousing rendition of Jerusalem, Pomp and Circumstance and Rule Britannia.

This Last Night of the Proms concert is Willoughby Symphony Orchestra’s tribute to the world's greatest classical music festival, The Proms – a series of concerts lasting eight weeks held in London's Royal Albert Hall.
