Carols in the Park

Bring your deck chairs and blankets and settle in for an evening of festive family fun at this year’s Carols in Willoughby Park! Now in its 12th year, the event is bigger and better than ever with an enhanced musical experience and the opportunity to help those in need with Lifeline’s Christmas Hamper drive.

The fun starts at 4pm with entertainment and activities to get you in the Christmas mood. Entertain the kids with fun activities, fairground rides on the oval and take your own photo with our special guest Santa. Indulge in an extensive range of international food then sit back, relax and enjoy pre-carols entertainment from the Ukulele All Stars and Spanish guitarist Joseph Zarb.

As the sun sets, get your voices ready for a spectacular carolling sing-along extravaganza from 7pm. The Northern Voices choir and band, Dance Republic, Willoughby Band and Willoughby Symphony Choir will get you into the Christmas spirit with traditional carols like Deck the HallsAway in a Manger and Silent Night and funky favourites including Jingle Bell RockRocking Around the Christmas Tree and Santa Claus is coming to Town.

This year you can make Christmas special by contributing to a Christmas hamper for a family in need. Bring your non-perishable food items to Lifeline’s collection point at the carols. You’ll also be contributing to the Salvation Army by purchasing a carols booklet.

Carols in Willoughby Park is a presented by Willoughby City Council and is sponsored by JJ Richards & Sons Pty Ltd and Pikes & Verekers Lawyers, proud suppliers of legal services to Willoughby City Council for over 20 years.
