Chatswood Family Festival

Eco workshops, a children’s symphony with Justine Clarke, theatre shows, arts and crafts and an exhibition are just some of the COVID safe highlights of the Chatswood Family Festival on The Concourse.

Returning in January 2021, there’s a world of fun to be had!

Learn to make your own terrarium, beeswax wraps or recycled plastic artwork in interactive eco workshops in the Chatswood Library Creator Space.

Let your imagination run wild in free art and craft sessions at Arts Space at The Concourse presented by Globalart. And enjoy artworks from around the world in a free exhibition of children’s art.

Join Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and children’s entertainer Justine Clarke for Mimi’s Symphony, a new orchestral story for children. Children will learn about the different sections of the orchestra while following the adventures of Mimi the magpie.

Premium children’s theatre performances include Magic BeachRoom on the Broom and The 91 Storey Treehouse on stage.

Join in 91 Story Treehouse Trivia at Chatswood Library and see how many books you can read in the Summer of Silly Reading Challenge.

As you enjoy the fun, why not tuck into something delicious at one of the many restaurants and cafes on The Concourse or enjoy the extensive world class shopping in Chatswood CBD?

The Chatswood Family Festival on The Concourse is presented by Willoughby City Council. Many events are free or are low cost. For more information on the program and to book visit willoughby.nsw.gov.au/FamilyFestival
