Community Information Seminars

Community Information Seminars offer an opportunity for you to hear about important and relevant issues or projects. Held up to ten times a year on the fourth Monday of each month and chaired by Mayor Gail Giles-Gidney, each seminar will feature topics presented by an expert from Council, state government or other agency. You’ll be invited to ask questions at the end. If you miss the presentation, you can go to the video links shown below. It is a different way for us to share information with you so you’re up to date. To be notified of upcoming topics, please sign up to our e-newsletter. We hope to see you there.

Cancellation of Community Information Seminars due to COVID-19

We are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Australia. The health and wellbeing of our employees, customers, partners and communities are our top priority.

Following the Australian Government and health authorities advice to practise social distancing strategies to combat the spread of COVID-19, Council has taken the decision to cancel non-essential meetings. As a result community information seminars will be cancelled until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise when they can resume.
