Description: Paydirt, by Peter Day and Jo-anne Fuller, is a water feature located at the centre of Mashman Park. The fountain is a tribute to the brickworks and pottery heritage of the area. A series of painted tiles refer to the site’s layers of history, and uses the glaze colours common to pottery. Items from Mashman Pottery, located on the site from 1885 to 1960, are depicted in the artwork.
