Preserving our architectural heritage

Willoughby has valuable private and public properties which feature heritage architecture. Preserving these properties which provide pleasure and value to the community is an important challenge. Protecting and maintaining architectural heritage often falls to the owners, so Willoughby Council has provided further incentives and inspiration to invest in heritage property. These include the Heritage Awards which recognise great heritage-aware architectural work, and the design guidelines for owners who want to maintain or recover their property's original condition.
