Willoughby is growing! Join the Garden Share Project

The Garden Share Project is designed to link people interested in gardening with older residents who have extra space to share in their backyards.

By joining the Garden Share Project you can:                                                                              

  • Learn how to garden and enjoy fresh produce by growing and sharing your veggies
  • Socialise with like-minded individuals
  • Join monthly activities including cooking classes, recipe share, gentle exercises, workshops and more…
  • Connect with your neighbours and celebrate our cultural diversity 
  • Enhance your wellbeing and encourage healthy ageing
  • Create a safer community to live in

Time to Grow is a joint initiative between the Willoughby City Council and its local residents, with the aim of the garden share project being an on-going sustainable community driven project after the initial 12 months.
