Australia Day

Celebrate Australia Day from 9am on Saturday 26 January 2013 at The Concourse, Victoria Ave, Chatswood.

The celebration begins with an address from the Mayor and Australia Day Ambassador, followed by a Citizenship Ceremony, the Citizen of the Year Awards and performances by the Australia Day Children’s Choir accompanied by the Willoughby Band.

A sausage sizzle will also be running on the day.

Children’s Choir

Children of Willoughby are invited to be a part of the Australia Day celebration by participating in the Australia Day Children’s Choir.

Weekly rehearsals start from 4pm - 5.30pm on Tuesday 20 November - Tuesday 18 December 2012 at the Dougherty Community Centre.

Citizen of the Year Awards

Nominations for the 2013 Citizen of the Year Awards are now open. If you know an individual in the Willoughby area that should be recognised for their community work, nominate them by completing the form:

There are 4 categories:

• Citizen of the Year Award;
• Young Citizen of the Year Award;
